The Dubai International Fine Art and Antiques Fair will take place at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12th – 15th December 2007. Participation will be by invitation only, at the discretion of the organisers and a specially appointed Standards Committee. The Fair will take place in a 5000-square-metre pillar-free hall designed to accommodate approximately 100 dealers, dependent on the sizes of stands taken. The hall will be dressed in pale cream and white carpet to complement a newly designed white shell scheme, the whole show enhanced by soft fountains and floral décor, the entirety providing an elegant and sophisticated modern look. The Exhibition Centre is strategically located just a 10 minute drive from the airport and offers exhibitors a complete infrastructure of exhibition services plus a concourse offering banks, restaurants, coffee shops, shops and round-the-clock security. The Fair will take place at the same time as the International Watch and Jewellery Show. This prestige event attracts over 16000 visitors and has been established for 10 years. A programme of joint promotions will benefit attendances to both events.

We have chosen Interactive Environments for Computer Graphics as the main topic. Indeed, games and virtual environments currently dominate both research and practice in our field. The conference will be structured along four main tracks, covering different aspects related to Computer Graphics, from Modeling to Rendering, including Animation and Interactive Environments. We welcome papers describing original work in any of the areas listed below. Accepted papers, presented at the conference by one of the authors, will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Papers describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques as well as general survey papers indicating future directions are also encouraged. Paper acceptance will be based on quality, relevance to the conference themes and originality. The conference program will include both oral and poster presentations. Special sessions, dedicated to case-studies and commercial presentations, as well as technical tutorials, dedicated to technical/scientific topics, are also envisaged. This is a conference about people, about the ways they interact with one another and with the physical, legal, social, and economic environments that surround them. While the conference is about crime prevention, there is much to be learned from programs and projects that are not specifically focused on either crime or prevention.

Introduction: The political freedom that we won in 1947 is only the first step towards achieving the goal of ¡¥Purna Swaraj¡¦ for India. We also need to win economic, social and moral freedoms as pointed out by Mahatma Gandhi in a letter written on 27th Jan. 1948, just 3 days before his martyrdom. This is the unfinished task bequeathed to posterity by the Father of the nation and other ¡¥freedom fighters¡¦ who laid down their lives for the political freedom of this country. Of these three-fold freedoms that are yet to be won for India, the ¡¥moral freedom¡¦ is the most important one at this critical moment in the history of our nation. Without moral freedom no other freedom can be sustained. Hence, a ¡¥Second Freedom Struggle¡¦ has become an imperative of the era to liberate India from the evil forces and win moral freedom for our country.
