Transportation Construction Management Institute
This institute grew out of a number of discussions between representatives of Virginia Tech, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Virginia Road and Transportation Builders' Association. Together these organizations saw a need to:
Provide a management development program tailored to the needs of transportation construction professionals to help them meet the demands of the Commonwealth's new initiatives in transportation construction.
Develop and present such a program as a joint venture between the Department of Transportation and the Road and Transportation Builders' Association in order to improve communication and develop a sense of joint commitment within the industry as a whole.
