The 9th IBIMA conference on Information Management in Modern Organizations will be held in Marrakech, Morocco 5-7 January 2008. How can we establish the social and political conditions most conducive to the emergence of sustainable societies? The aim of the 6th Taipei International Digital Earth Symposium (TIDES 2008) on May 15th to 16th 2008 is to help in the search for this balance.
