Executive Management Briefings 2007-2008
The William, S. Spears School of Business presents its first speaker in the 2007-2008 Executive Management Briefings on December 4, 2007. Juan Enriquez is Chairman & CEO of Biotechonomy, a company that is researching and findings startups to enable the genomic revolution. Enriquez is also author of the books, “The United States of America” and the global bestseller “As the Future Catches You.” The format is a luncheon and presentation from 12 noon-1:30 p.m. at the Cox Business Center. Enriquez’ topic is “The United States of America.”
Juan Enriquez was the founding director of Harvard Business School’s Life Science Project. He is the world’s preeminent authority on the economics and political impacts of the life sciences. Juan is also an expert on the dynamics of the knowledge economy and the other social and political forces that are driving change in America and the world today. He previously served as CEO of Mexico City’s Urban Development Corporation, coordinator general of economic policy and chief of staff for Mexico’s Secretary of State, and a member of the Peace Commission that negotiated the cease-fire in Chiapas’ Zapatista rebellion.
